Tried Jackie's place. It was okay. They have a menu that gives you a little bit of everything to choose from. I loved the gumbo. It almost taste like mine so I was impressed. It's loaded with lots of chicken and a few sausages, I had one shrimp but that was okay the flavor was there and that was good. I got the bowl versus the cup.I also wanted to try the fried fish and chicken. I'd likely go with the chicken over the fish in the future just because the fish needed hot sauce for more flavor. It's good though!! Definitely worth the order. The Mac and cheese was just okay. Just to say you had it as mac n cheese maybe it would capture more flavor with the large elbows but it wasnt exciting for me. The yams were good. They serve Pepsi products and have a couple of flavors of Kool-aid. They were out of Pepsi on my visit so I had to get Orange. The restaurant has tight tight parking and is innovative on ordering. Rather than wait for a server you order and pay via your phone so I'd say its kinda cafeteria style BUT they have a full bar and the food comes out pretty quickly. The staff is also quick to check on you. The to go packaging and water is on a stand self serve and there is a dessert display on your way out that includes peach cobbler. I didn't try any desserts but they have them. I think its worth the visit. Don't let my star push you away I just thought it was okay.

Best all around food I have had in a long time.A little loud inside due to the hard wood floors but, excellent food good service. The self order app was very easy to use. Best collard greens I have had in at least years. If you like tender collard greens, this is the spot. Very pleased with the food.Vegetarian options: The greens are next level.

When I arrived at this particular restaurant I was unsure what too expect when parking in the cramped parking lot but I was surprised when I stepped into the beautiful dining room, great atmosphere and decor, I was served almost as quickly as I ordered by our server Leah and the food was Immaculate I had the Smoked pork sandwich with the side of Mac n' Cheese. the smoked pork was fresh and juicy and had too be some of the best tasting food I've had in a long while along with the Mac n' cheese which was breaded and frankly stunning. For dessert I had some of their freshly made Banana pudding which was top notch. All together I can safely say that if you're looking for a delicious meal go too Jackie's place. you won't regret it.

I ordered a catered Thanksgiving lunch for my office, and Jackie's Place exceeded our expectations! We have many vegetarians on our team, and their menu offered fantastic options to accommodate everyone. The vegetarian jambalaya and sides (mac and cheese, vegetables, mashed potatoes, and potato salad) were bursting with flavor—truly impressive for a catering order of this size. The food was freshly prepared and arrived at our office still warm, which was a pleasant surprise. For the non-vegetarians, we had brisket, and it was some of the best I’ve ever had. The portions were incredibly generous, with more than enough for everyone to enjoy. Highly recommend Jackie's Place for their quality, flavor, and attention to detail!
